Find Your Inner Compass

My coaching friend Hannah and I have created a 4-week course called, Find Your Inner Compass, Look Within to Go Beyond. But, are you wondering what an inner compass is and why it’s so important?

Your inner compass is the part of you that knows what it wants and needs to do next. Even if you can’t put words to it or clearly explain it, your inner compass knows the direction you want to start walking towards. I’m not talking about the childish part of you that wants to sleep all day, start an argument with your friend, or eat a pint of ice cream, I’m talking about the wise part of you.

This wise, knowing part of us gets buried. It’s buried under fear and protective patterns, beneath autonomic nervous system responses we adapted at some point in our lives to keep us safe. So it takes effort, practice, and patience to learn how to access, and then listen to, your inner compass. This is why many of us stay stuck on old patterns, even if we say we want a change.

I’ve always believed in an inner compass. It’s why the first thing you see on my website is the John O’Donohue quote, “The soul knows the geography of its destiny.” It’s why I named my coaching business Soul Geography. Whatever you want to call it, soul, inner compass, Self, god, goddess, divine, it’s the part of ourselves that feels most like home.

I want to be a part of helping you find your inner compass. I want to teach you how to connect with it, and then learn how to trust it and act on what it’s saying, one small shift at a time. That’s why we developed this 4-week course because we believe this work has the power to affect so many areas of your life. Now more than ever, our world desperately needs people who are self-aware, emotionally intelligent, and regulated, people who communicate with conviction, clarity, and respect. We need the best parts of us living out in the world making our families and our communities better places.

Reading books and listening to podcasts will only take you so far. It’s only when you work alongside others, either one-to-one or in community that you are able to make any significant leaps forward in your life.

We’d love it if you’d join us.
